New Game: Golden Goal
Golden Goal is a new competition format built on the Colosseo Arena engine.
The format introduces a time-window prediction mechanic designed for football matches.
Players purchase exclusive time windows during a match. If a goal occurs within their selected window, they win the competition.
How the Format Works
A match is divided into small time windows.
Each window can be owned by a single player.
For example:
- 00:00 - 00:30
- 00:30 - 01:00
- 01:00 - 01:30
Players select the window they believe will contain the first goal.
If the goal occurs within that window, the player holding that slot wins.
Structured Competition Design
Golden Goal is designed as a structured competition rather than a traditional bet.
The Arena competition engine manages:
- time window allocation
- player entries
- match events
- outcome calculation
This allows operators to run the format without building custom game logic.
Optional Extensions
Golden Goal can also include additional mechanics such as:
- stoppage time windows
- shared “no goal” protection pools
- variable window sizes
These options allow operators to configure the format for different competitions.
Launch Timeline
Golden Goal will launch alongside the Arena competition engine as part of the Colosseo platform rollout.
Further details will be published as the format becomes available.
